So which one is it? Rockband or Guitarhero? To be honest, I haven't played Rockband, I just found it to be a rip-off of Guitarhero in it's own way. So I go with Guitarhero. Although, Guitarhero of course wasn't the first music melody game of that nature. It first started in Arcades with games by Konami and other companies.

I am going to vote nether.

I have never played Rock Band, but I have heard that the developers of Guitar Hero got wind of Rock Band before it came out, and in response they made Guitar Hero and put it out before Rock Band made its debut.
